Comfort Automation/ Security System Forums

I have a Comfort 11 system. The transformer has started humming and so I assume it is near then end of it\'s life. I am told it is the older type of transformer. I understand from my supplier (Laser Systems) that a replacement is no longer available from them. Can anybody advise where I might get a replacement?

I did a quick search for 16VAC, 2 A power transformer, but could not find any suitable part. I suggest other alarm manufacturers as this was a common spec.I think the CM9000 could be more than 10 years old
