There has been some off line discussion on these matters but probably time to  discuss here?

For a start here is some info from CNET:

see the link on that page to power consumption table of various flat screens.

So radial wiring of some power sockets (new build and renovation)? Comfort can then turn off at night or away etc.

Route these to relays?

Power consumption of any control component ? e.g. CBus ? 

CBus turning power off to CBus..... ? etc.

If you tried to control a radial segment, Comfort would not be able to cope with the sheer amount of inputs/outputs required on a medium to large house.

CBUS can cope as it\'s expandable

Something to think about for Comfort 3 ?

 

Technically you could have 128 outputs driving 128 (Din Rail) Relays. 

I\'ve got one 12 (?) way CBus Relay (waiting to be) wired to:

3 sockets - Kitchen

5 sockets - Bedrooms

Heat Recovery & Vent

etc.

Yes, CBUS has lots of outputs and inputs, but the CBUSUCM has it\'s limitations, again means you cant have that many driven from Comfort.

 

The CBUS SIM on the UCM can support it as far as Im aware, but the Comfort side of the CBUSUCM is the limitation is appears
