With the next release of Comfigurator can we please have a template file that only has the responses that are used, in the default program, when the panel arrives.  These are a hang over from when comfort did not have such an excellant tool as comfigurator to  easily create syntax correct responses.

 

Eg.  Delete

ALL X10 responses.   ( Useless and time consuming to remove for installs of C-Bus, Dynalite, EIB,  Rako)

All OUTPUT 1 ON,  OUPUT 1 OFF  etc. 

PULSE OUTPUT??  etc

TWOWAYSwitch  etc

IRCommand  etc

Basically every thing that is not blue in the current template . i.e called by a keypad button.  This comes down to about 20 responses.

These responses can be added into groups of .crs files that can be imported when required.

If we would like to show how things are done, then I suggest that we have a  range  of fully working programs,  CCL files, that show best practise technigues of programming the things that will be included in 80 percent of installes.

For example a program that has

6 PIRS  4 Programmed as  PIR AWAY and 2 as PIR NIGHTAWAY , one as a handover zone,

1 Garage door with supporting responses for open and close based on garage reed.

1 front gate

1 front door

Supporting responses to open these and called from the miscellaneous responses screen.

1 keypad

1 door station

program for auto weekly test to monitoring station

Daylight saving  with comments telling how to switch between northern and souther hemisphere.

A C-Bus version with and 8 channel dimmer with a coded response for all on and all off that implements the grouping into four commands that is required.

Similar for X10.

Similar for Dynalite

Similar for EIB.

Any comments?  Thoughts?

However the minimal configuration template is only for experienced Comfort programmers. The \"full\" templates contain useful responses and examples which can be used in many situations for X10, IR, etc

Hi Chiu,  I agree that the current template files be retained,  or a modified version of them them to show examples for how to do the many powerful things that comfort can do.  These can act as examples for new users.  I would suggest that you remove the multiple instances of the same command but with a different output etc, and use the space for examples of different and more complex examples.  There needs to be some documentation to accompany this file, that exlains what the example response is doing,  and explanations of were it would be used.

Yes you can do that
If there is anything that does not fit on FS24, it should show as an error, but a minimum template should not have any problems

Will the defmin34.cct file work with the new tuning parameters of 5.145 and how do you import it to Comfigurator 3.0.0?

You can import tuning parameters from any file in Comfigurator 3
File Import > Configuration Items, select the file name. A list of items will be shown. Check Tuning Parameters

To Import new tuning parameters, select fiile type cctx (ie Templates) and the file newtuning.cctx in the Config folder in Comfigurator 3

Tuning parameters 43 and 44 are for Fullduplex phone to KP/.DP and Fullduplex KP to DP
These are set to 0. You can try to set them to 1 for true fullduplex (and reset)
This may give you more natural intercom performance but at the cost of lower volume
