Hi

We have the following problem at an installation (Minder II, 4 slaves and 4 LEM\'s, KP04 Keypads and a normal doorstation) -

When the doorstation rings, the (DECT) phone inside rings, but as soon as you press the answer button, the call is ended. It sounds like there is some attempt to put the \'call\' through, but it just hangs up.

Our local support for Minder said that they think it is a bug in the Minder2 firmware. Is this the case, or is there perhaps another solution?

Thanks
RH

At the same client as my previous post, the Minder seems to \'freeze\' the phone line after an alarm is triggered. The client then can\'t use his phone unless he resets Minder.

Any ideas

Thanks

Are you able to access Comfort via the local phone in the 1st place?? Try reversing the TEL In connector to see if it works.

Btw you can\'t possibly have 4 slaves and 4 LEMs in a single system Tongue

And please try to post all in the same thread so as to avoid confusion. I have shifted your other post into this thread for clarity.
Hi thanks, yes sorry, 3 slaves and 3 LEM\'s :-)

I have yet to try to reverse the TEL connector, someone has mentioned it to me but I havent been there to do it.

No we cant dial into Minder either.

Thanks

Hi

I have swopped the tip and ring from the TEL in as well as swopped the actual IN and OUT connectors. No luck. I\'ve also put in another ringer module, but it still doesn\'t work.

The client has an ADSL indernet connection. Could this be a probable cause?

The next step would be to try a new mainboard, as suggested by our local support.

Thanks
