To kick off the 3rd party Development area I am working on a Crestron module to interface with Comfort Via Ethernet or RS232.
Here is what I have working so far,
- Inital Login to UCM
- Keypad emulation (a touch screen based keypad, works the same as the real keypad without the audio at the moment)
- Security Mode feedback (to display in text on a touch panel which mode Comfort is in)
- Zone status (On, Off, S/C, O/C) (Currently on a plan of the house, lights which zone has been triggered in a room)
- Trigger any responce in Comforts 256 locations (comfort pro)
- Feedback into the Crestron when the phone rings or doorbell (db) is pressed. I currently use this to pause what ever I am watching on tv!)
- If engineer code is enabled or disabled
- Set up a \'device poll\' join (in Crestron we just poll this join to query Comfort ie security mode, bypassed zones etc)
- Show zone status, bypassed etc and be able to set bypass / unbypass zones.
- Show the event log
- Show if voice messages are waiting
- Get Comfort voice / messaging to the touch panels
- Show current alarm state
- Show state of outputs
