- Home - 09-04-2012 NO NO What i thought was happening is that Cytech would design a blinds relay from scratch - i was suggesting that the CBUS relay was a very good example of what to include in a specification for a new product. RIO COULD be - which is precisely the problem _If it were using MAINS then it COULD NOT BE in the same enclosure as the main pcb! Manual override - when we design whole systems one of our main aims is to prepare for failure. By placing a manual override on the relay the blind will always work (if it powered) it does not RELY on comfort, comfort is only the controller / logic - Home - 09-14-2012 I have NEVER suggested using the CBUS blinds relay - what i am suggesting is that IF you were (and i thought you were) looking to develop a blinds relay then you should make a serious not of the features of the CBUS blinds relay. For us RIO as a blinds relay is a half way solution and does nothing to enhance the Comfort offering. Never mind - i thought that somewhere in the Ether you had said that you would look at developing a blinds relay not modifying a RIO. |
