Hi,
I am on the island of Malta and am the only CBUS certified and Comfort installer on the island. I guess I am stuck

In that case you do need another UCM, but this wilol allow you to upgrade the Comfort and the other UCM. Both UCMs wil be able to upgrade their own firmware in future
