- ident - 12-31-2011 Hio Jason, Is there any documentation on the Hometronic protocol? The new Universal UCM see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum94/2126.html has been designed to communicate with any 3rd party device on Rs232 or Ethernet with a wide range of baud rates etc - ukhauk - 12-31-2011 The radio protocol is not published but I can supply you with the our gateway protocol so you can trigger lifestyles, display room temperatures and adjust setpoints etc. Communication is all done over IP We supply two types of gateway a web interface for 3rd party integration and a web manager for full control via Internet browser.
