Ok, thanks...I discovered I had an IP address conflict (new router was installed last week while I was away). So, this problem is sorted. However, I now have encountered the next problem. The Comfort to MQTT gets to this point:

But doesn't continue because the Mosquitto Broker is reporting that the Client is unknown. I have created a user name comfortalarm with a password in Home Assistant and the account is valid. I have also tried my own credentials but still encounter this problem.

So I continue to receive a series of DEBUG IPxxxx messages with the occasional DEBUG OK message in the Comfort to MQTT log and New connection from 172.30.32,2:xxxxx followed immediately by Client unknown closed its connection messages in the Mosquitto broker log.
Neither Comfort II Ultra (MQTT client) nor the Comfort2MTTBridge (MQTT client) appear as Devices. So not sure why I am unable to get things working.

Ok so after going over everything in fine detail I noticed that somehow the port number in the Comfort to MQTT configuration was set to 1882 instead of 1883…now working. Apologies for all the noise on the thread.
