- mikegriff - 09-27-2008 Just about to upgrade from G1 Ultra 4.225 Slave 1 With 4.177 (new) Slave 2 With 4.177 (as always) UCMEthernet 5.70 (New) + 256 NVM UCMAudio 5.70 (New) + 256 NVM to G2 Ultra As usual I have bought the kit well over a year ago and am just getting round to it ![]() Am about to order MPU01 Plug-in Firmware Module and a couple of UCM05 any advice would be welcome Thanks in advance Mike - slychiu - 09-28-2008 Your G1 Slaves should be Ok with G2 Ultra It is recommended that you use LEM01-M2 on the Comfort G2, although you may get away with the old G1 LEM01 You will need the UCM05 to do an upgrade on the MPU firmware. Good that you have 2 UCM05s so one can upgrade the other The Ethernet and Audio plug in modules will work on the new UCM05s, you can even plug in both Audio and Ethernet on one UCM05 if you wish The Old UCM01s can still be used as serial interfaces to other equipment I hope you install the new kit soon! |
