- Guest - 02-27-2009 Hi, I have this problem with the Slave Board 2 communication failure. The system configuration that installed are as follows: Comfort 1 2 Slave Board with LEM on each Slave 2 Keypad it appears when the system does a battery check (set for 12 hours) this is when the slave board 2 alarm goes off, but I have changed the battery check setting changed it to 24 hours and the system didnââ¬â¢t fail out on the slave board for about 2 days and then just went off without warning. I did check the battery to see if it was bad and it is not. This Slave communication failure only occurs on Slave no 2. The others does not have similar problem. - hendy - 02-27-2009 Has this Slave 2 board been added to the system recently? A low battery should not cause a communication failure, it will only prompt you Battery Warning controller. Does this slave 2 have its own AC power supply? What is the Comfort I firmware version? You can see it from the label on U1. What is the Slaves firmware version? How are these two slaves connected to the Comfort 1 mainboard? |
