Hi all,

I have installed a MinderPro board at a client. Whenever power supply recovers from a black out, Hooter(100dB) shouts  for a moment. This is irritating the client especially at night time. Is there any way to overcome this?

Regards,
Manas

That is the correct behaviour for MinderPro. It tests the siren when power is applied
Your problem is not with this, it is that you do not have a back up battery (12V 7 AH) see example here
A backup battery is mandatory for an alarm system. An alarm system cannot go dead when the power goes off, otherwise it is not much use

Ok. I thought I can control stratup behaviour. Anyways, we are going to install battery backup for the system.

Thanks!
