- Manas - 03-04-2009 Hi all, I have installed a MinderPro board at a client. Whenever power supply recovers from a black out, Hooter(100dB) shouts for a moment. This is irritating the client especially at night time. Is there any way to overcome this? Regards, Manas - ident - 03-04-2009 That is the correct behaviour for MinderPro. It tests the siren when power is applied Your problem is not with this, it is that you do not have a back up battery (12V 7 AH) see example here A backup battery is mandatory for an alarm system. An alarm system cannot go dead when the power goes off, otherwise it is not much use - Manas - 03-05-2009 Ok. I thought I can control stratup behaviour. Anyways, we are going to install battery backup for the system. Thanks! |
