Hi
I have a door contact on my main entrance door, and there is also a PIR covering the main hallway that the door leads into.
When you unlock the door and walk in, the door contact will trigger, and then the PIR will trigger. I assume both of these detectors will need to be set as being on the entry path ?

Yes any detectors that will be triggered when you enter and leave the premises will have to be on the Entry Path. The Main door should also be on the entry path. However the main door is an ENTRY DOOR Zone Type which causes an Entry Delay when it is opened while the system is armed. Any Entry Path detectors triggered after the Entry Door is opened do not cause an alarm
The Entry Door zone also ends the exit sequence in Away Mode and arms the system

Does this mean that once the main door has caused an entry delay that none of the other PIR\'s around the home will trigger an alarm?
For example if I have a contact on the main door that starts the entry delay, I might have a PIR that is in the hall that could also be part of the entry path, but I might have a PIR in the living room which is not part of the entry path, but if the living room door was open and I walked past it to get to the keypad, would this trigger an alarm? or is everything ok because of the entry delay?

Only zones that have the ENTRY PATH checked will not cause an alarm after the Entrt Door is opened
Zones without ENTRY PATH will cause alarms as usual
ENTRY DOOR is a Zone Type while ENTRY PATH is a check box on the Zone - two different things

So if a zone is marked as zone entry it will still alarm immediately if the entry door is not open and the entry delay is not active?

Thats correct. Entry Path zones will cause an alarm if triggered when the Entry Door has not been opened
