- incontrol - 07-21-2009 Hi  Having just up graded a comfort project from comfort I to II using the new Keypad KP04-wi ,  comfort II Ultra Firm ware 5.145 since the change setting the alarm has the following results   1/ setting the alarm to away mode form the keypad (one touch padlocked) no response 2/ Setting the alarm via a  remote key fob,  using the  response  Ã¢â‚¬ËœautoArmAway’ set’s  the alarm, with  NO  arming tone on key pad, however it announces  the alarm state  after the final set. 3/ Setting the alarm to night mode using the Moon key , no  arming responses , but arms to night mode.  I have checked:  The arming and disarming settings, after exit delay 20sec, exit time 20sec Keypad settings , Any ideas   Richard - slychiu - 07-21-2009 Richard You have replaced Comfort I with a new Comfort II PCB? Have you started a new file system using File > New with Comfigurator 3 and then transferred to default settings to Comfort II? It looks like a problem wiith parameter settings that you describe which using a default file should fix. - incontrol - 07-21-2009 Hi Chiu Yes I have replaced comfort I with comfort PCB II, I did a convert file system, you think this could be the problem, ok I’ll try using the default file ( the job’s remote , but I have a CWM02 part installed) I have another query ,I have the CWM02 I’m having problems with my browsers Java application , whilst on the java.sun.com site ( to test the java ) this works, But when I try to connect to comfort web server the browser announces no java. If I look at my advance menu in explorer does not resemble the settings of the cwm02 manual . any pointers on this would be great - slychiu - 07-21-2009 Which version of IE or other browser are you using? - incontrol - 07-21-2009 Internet Explorer 8 - slychiu - 07-21-2009 Can you also test with another browser say Firefox? see if you get the same message? - incontrol - 07-21-2009 Both browsers, would first display, the log in after stating that java is not supported , I would get the keypad log in with a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside the triangle . The keypad would except my login but no screen would change Now that I have a fix for the arming, I’ll have to revisit and try the java logging again. - hendy - 07-22-2009 It is strange that you can see \"Sorry, your browser doesn\'t support java\" message and the keypad log-in page both at the same time. If it does not support java then the keypad log-in page should not appear. Can you go to this site: http://java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml to see if the correct java version is installed. You should be able to see the \"Duke\" dancing if it is okay.  Else, you should only see a grey box. Another thing is to ensure that the number of UCMs programmed by Comfigurator is correct. By default, the ID of CWM = 2 so the number of UCMs should equal to 2 if there is no other UCM in the system. You should see both red (485 TX) and green (485 RX) LEDs on CWM02 flashing fast if it is programmed correctly; otherwise, only the green 485 RX LED will flash and the red 485 TX LED will remain off. - incontrol - 07-22-2009 When I did the browser check, I got the dancing duke, Just checked the ccl file only one UCM is checked,’opps’ I’ll change this when I’m next on site Thanks Richard
