The Baud Rate setting for comms through a UCM is set at 9600 baud.
The Tibbo module can work at higher speeds so where is the 9600 constraint being imposed and can this be raised at all?
I\'m assuming it\'s between the Tibbo module and the UCM baseboard (UART)?

That is right
The baud rate is between the UCM baseboard and the ETH module and is fixed at 9600 baud
Anychange would affect the Comfigurator and other software which expects a 9600 baud date

style=\"BACKGROUND-COLOR: #c6e1d7\"With the KT023 working at 38400 bps wouldnt it be useful to work towards making that the standard instead of 9600 even if it takes new builds of Comfigurator etc to make the change. Then you wouldnt need the KT03 checkbox.

It is not a technical problem, it is a compatibility problem
If we have several different versions of UCMs with different speeds, then it would be a problem for the software which needs to talk to the UCMs
Besides the UCM always talks to Comfort at 9600 baud so any improvement in speed between the computer and UCM would not be fully effective

Even though the KT03 talks to Comfort at 9600 I think the 38400 was chosen for PC-to-KT03 so you can download images a bit faster. The KT03 has lots of space for an image library and it can take a long time to download custom pages, even at 38400.
