- DriftwoodMartin - 07-17-2011 Hi, Just trawled through all the topics and can\'t find and answer so: I have a comfort panel and it\'s nowhere near the incoming telephone socket so I was wondering if it would cause any problems to extend the telephone line with this: http://store.yourdigitalhome.co.uk/telephony/RTX3067.html connecting the reciever to Comfort and a dect phone system to telephone out of comfort. My ADSL will be taken from the master socket. Many Thanks Martin - ident - 07-18-2011 If a normal telephone line can work with this device, and it gives a dial tone to the telephone, then it has a good chance of working, but I have nbnot come across this before I suppose there is no harm in tryng as they give you your money back - DriftwoodMartin - 07-18-2011 That\'s great! I\'ll give it a go and keep you posted. Many Thanks for the quick response. Martin - bs85 - 07-18-2011 If you have the Comfort panel to call out on an alarm and you have a power failure you will not get any notifications. ã42 will buy a lot of telephone cable. - DriftwoodMartin - 07-22-2011 looks good so far, I have comfort calling out, I can dial in just setting up the ringer with a master socket on Tel out to ring the internal dect phones and the jobs done. I realise that I could have done this theoretically cheeper using tel cable but it would have been a lot more expensive to replace the pine cladding in my ceilings not to mention the time to route the cable! thanks for the help! |
