Hello,

I\'m currently setting up a new Comfort system and have a couple of basic questions -
My first issue is that I have a tamper alert currently on the system but can\'t identify what it is. I have several zones wired at comfort end but some PIRs not connected to the system yet at the component end. These zones have not been setup in comfigurator and have blank zone types. Only the zones with components verified as working have the zone type setup on the zone. My understanding was that if there is no zone type setup on a zone that it does not trigger a tamper. Correct?

I have no bellbox connected yet, but the srntmp is shorted so that should not be an issue either.

Finally I show a communication failure, keypad 6. I have no kepyad 6. Both keypads - a KT03 (id 7) and a KP05 (id 1) are otherwise connected and working correctly. What could this be?

Thanks for the help

I\'ve now resolved these issues. The tamper alert was the case tamper - didn\'t short the comfort tamper terminal. That was an obvious one, though the KT03 doesn\'t report the tamper type (that I can see anyway) and I only just installed the kp05 to see it was \'controller\'.

The communication failure was more subtle. I had the KT03 at id 7. Number of keypads is 2. Changing the KT03 keypad id to 1 and kp05 to 2 seemed to remove the communication failure error.
