Version 6.024 (8 July 2012)

  1. Fixed Bug - Reset UCM will hang for 20 seconds if no U2 EEPROM is present
  2. SW8-G STX switch has no function
  3. Watchdog.reset time from 9 to 18 seconds
  4. Fixed BUG from UCM 6.012 Upgrade UCM by direct connection to previous versions may fail. UCM 6.012 must only be upgraded to 6.023 and above
  5. Added UCM message tmxx status message for Production Test Mode
  6. Improved READ from EEPROM speed and to prevent hang when Read is interrupted
  7. RESET will recover from any incomplete EEPROM operation
  8. Implement runaway protection of SFR
  9. UCM download U2 EEPROM to Comfort will check  comfort firmwwre if 6.019  then send erase command to CM before writing non-FF bytes to Comfort EEPROM to speed up transfer
  10. UCM Download to EEPROM will stop if 21H reply is received so will not write to Event Log area of Comfort U4 EEPROM to save time and to prevent overwriting Event log
  11. Fixed BUG AR did not send complete message, AR message wrong from 5.183 Affects iPhone app Restore Alarms status
  12. Improved upgrade UCM by Bus - applies to external UCMs only
  13. Use new routines for COPY EEPROM (U3)
  14. Cater for extended sensor array  for future
  15. Receive RS485 buffer from  127 to 240 for longer Do Action 197 message
Change in COPY EEPROM Functions
  1. Note that in this version, the COPY EEPROM function has been disabled. This means that the COPY, TEST, COMPARE, UPLOAD functions which address the COPY EEPROM are no longer functional.

Note that the COPY EEPROM function has been disabled so that the buttons COPY, UPLOAD, TEST and COMPARE buttons which address the COPY EEPROM are not functional.
In the next firmware, UCM 6.028 the UPLOAD button will read from Comfort to MASTER (U2) EEPROM

Hi, I have just upgraded my UCM/ETH02 firmware to EM500W3.31.10 but now cannot connect to comfort. Is this the wrong firmware as it seems to be the only 1 that is available. My unit is not the same as the picture for the FW-EM500 so where do I get the firmware for the UCM/ETH02. Thanks as always for you help.

I think this is the correct firmware and also had had this problem in the past and the ucm needed to be powered down and up to work again.

Is this the wrong firmware as it seems to be the only 1 that is available. My unit is not the same as the picture for the FW-EM500 so where do I get the firmware for the UCM/ETH02.

You may have the EM100 (which is orange) which is the older version before EM500
Note that EM500 has its own firmware and UCM has its firmware - these are 2 different sets of firmware

Even if your submodule is EM500 you can upgrade the UCM firmware to the latest which is currently UCM 7.028 if your UCM is not the old UCM01 (from 8 years ago)
