Hello there,

do anybody know how to make the automation for lighting of the stairway?
Right here is the picture of the stairway,

The automation is like.
Our first step of the stairway, the light beside the stairways will turn on.
I\'m confusing, what sensor should i use?

and where to find?

thank you.

You need to use a PIR or Motion Sensor connected to Comfort controlling the staircase lights. Speak to a Comfort distributor for detailed advice if you are an installer.

ok, thank you very much for your help,
but i cannot find the best location to instal the PIR sensor, since the is no wall to instal that.

i\'m wondering, there are a small sensor that produce a red beam, like to be used in the alarm sistem in Bank will work, and planning to instal near the first step of the stairway.

But truely, i don\'t know what is that name or where to find?

You can mount on the wall behind the stairs so it will turn on the  lights if there is someone in the area not just on the stair
Otherwise use an Active Infrared sensor or beam sensor, these are also available to detect someone crossing the path between the transmitter and receiver
