- strickers - 03-18-2013 Hi, One thing we have started to use often use at work is webinar education sessions. I feel this would be a great idea for Cytech to start running, maybe instead of local education sessions as this would be cheaper for everyone involved. I have had a comfort system for over 2 years now and still donââ¬â¢t feel I am getting the most from it. I installed the system myself as it was far to expensive to have it professionally installed. Although this had the advantage of still being able to get a comfort system I do feel I am missing out on the many features available. The forum could be used to see which topics could be covered by a webinar and at what technical level. I know the forum is a great place to read solutions to problems but think seeing someone actually do it would be much more clear. I also think it would be used by prospective clients to see if it is something they think they could manage. Any thoughts? Thanks - slychiu - 03-19-2013 That is a good idea. How many would be interested? Let us have an indication - Vangelis - 03-19-2013 I\'d be interested in this - as a DIY installer I am ok with the electric/electronics side of things but would benefit from a step-by-step session from IP address configuration to IF-THEN-ELSE programming - Just to make sure I am not doing anything stupid. Members could submit a programming scenario they want to create (maybe we could have a poll so the topics are of interest to others also) and then Cytech could run through some examples. There could be follow on trouble shooting sessions of common issues (Bellbox wiring, incorrect ID setting etc) - strickers - 04-25-2013 So will this be a no go? It didnt get as much interest as I thought it would. Everyone must know all there is to know about comfort! How many people would you need to make this viable? Thanks, Chris. - lab-art - 11-06-2013 This would indeed be interesting. - Guest - 04-01-2014 I would be very interested in a webinar of some sort. There is so much to learn with this system, and currently the only way to get answers is via this forum, which is great, but a slow way of getting things done. - ident - 04-01-2014 we can arrange another webinar if there are more people interested |
