Hi,
Is there a way to keep the LCD backlight ON for the KP04 when the system is in \'Security Off\' Mode ? or when the text on the LCD screen changes ?

No, the backlight behaviour cannot be controlled by the user
However you can set the shunt to permanently enable the backlight
