- Ian - 01-30-2014 Hi - I have an old Comfort 1 (yes I will upgrade at some point). I like to tinker with things and have a lot of home automation. I want to experiment with XAP via HomeSeer. I have a Netiom XAP board. I can wield a soldering iron if I\'m told what I need but have little electronics knowledge. The output from comfort is 12v, the input to the Netiom board must not exceed 5v. My question is - what can I put between the two to drop the 12v to 5v and control the Netiom board from Comfort? Cheers. - ident - 01-31-2014 You can use a 5V voltage reguator eg 78L05 from many manufacturers to convert the 12V from Comfort to 5V - Ian - 01-31-2014 Thank you |
