- Swiss-Toni - 04-07-2016 What am I missing I have just installed a SCS 6 switch and configured it to turn light of/on using toggle, however the red indicator lights on the switch continuously flash and will not turn of even though the corresponding light is of, also if any other button is pressed the indicator light will not turn off. The only way to turn of the flashing red light is to unplug it and plug back in or pull the 12V + Com plug out of the back. Has anyone else had this issue and how was it resolved? I have read the manual for installation/programming and followed the process but to no avail - juwi_uk - 04-08-2016 I haven\'t played with an SCS for a while but I recall having the same scenario when I tried and that the LED latches ON. Not 100% but I think that you need to turn the LED off via Responses linked to the SCS/RIO Event Responses. - slychiu - 04-08-2016 Correct, once the SCS button is pressed, the LED will flash until you turn it on or off by Response Not very friendly but it is an old product which we do not make any more - Swiss-Toni - 04-08-2016 I understand that when you press the button and the led flashes on for that particular function, however even when you turn of the led still remains flashin on, I cant find a comand to turn the led in the off response. I assumed this would be a hardware configuration on = led on of = led of Could you possibly tell me what the command line to put in the off response to turn the led of, would be very gratefull. Also will there be a replacement product for the scs 6 - wexfordman - 04-08-2016 The leds are referenced as outputs, so you turn an output on or off to turn the led on or off. The number of the output depends on tjebaddress of the scs. - Swiss-Toni - 04-08-2016 wexfordman wrote: Quote:The leds are referenced as outputs, so you turn an output on or off to turn the led on or off.Thats exactly what I cant find but your on spot for what I am trying to do, if I know the name of the the output of the led I can put it in the command line, sorry to be a pain do you have any idea of the name of the scs led output - wexfordman - 04-08-2016 Will dig out my info when I am home. - Swiss-Toni - 04-08-2016 Just located it in Outputs thanks for the heads up chaps. - slychiu - 04-09-2016 The leds on SCS are also meant to be used status so you turn it on or off depending of the status of the item that you are controlling |
