- slychiu - 06-23-2017 Important Please do NOT lay the Keypad wires close to any Mains Cable, as this will cause interference in the form of a loud humming or buzzing. This noise is almost impossible to remove except by moving the keypad wires AWAY from the Mains cable. 50/60 Hz is in the voice frequency range and is difficult to filter out It is also importrant to use CAT 5 cable preferably shielded - Swiss-Toni - 06-25-2017 10cm is the usaul distance that mains cables should be kept away from other cables that maybe interefered with esp data, CCTV & other COAX cables esp TV. |
