Am I correct ........
C1 main panels CAN use KPO4A as long as the partitions have not been set?
I have a customer that has just ordered a new keypad KP04A and is wanting to swap out an old KP03

I had a major issue with KP04A keypads, if you do use them in a partition, make sure that you upgrade the firmware in them or you will have endless problems as I did.

Comfort 1 cannot support KP04 keypads. There is no text support, so the keypad will always show \"press *1 to sync text\" The voice part should be OK though
Comfort 1 was discontinued more than 15 years ago, and parts are no longer available so it is really time to upgrade

Yes KP04A keypads used in a partition must be upgraded to the latest firmwareOtherwise the KP04A will not know about the partition and will behave in a peculiar way
See we dont make you buy new keypads when a new feature is available. except if it is really very old, like more than 10 years
