Just a quick question is this backwards compatible with the CP9000-ULT and is the LEM01B also backwards compatable

If you can upgrade CP9000 to the latest firmware then it is compatible with IRIO. LEM01B is more tricky as it has no EOL shunts. If you connect LEM01B to CM9000 thn you have to use double EOL resistors ie 4K7 in parallel wth the contact and 2K7 in series

What if no EOL are used in the circuit?

even if no eols are used, you have to connect the eol resistors, due to LEM02B not having the shunts to tell the system that EOL are not used.
