Battery Replacement - "battery Warning Controller" - DavidJ - 07-23-2026
I'm out of the country currently and my wife advises me the alarm is bleeping every so often with an error "battery Warning Controller".
I'm guessing the battery need replacement. Can you advise if its a simple matter of unplugging the old and replacing with new ot you do need to tell the system youve changed it. Can it wait two weeks for my return? Or as I wont be there I can get someone else to re[place it, my panel has no anti tamper on it and actually easy to access the battery. So is it a simple matter of swapping or is there more to it. THanks for advice.

Yopu can just replace the battery, no need to do anything else.
