- Pesa11 - 08-24-2007 Hello, I have got a problem. I can not receive and transmit X10 codes. Which cable do I use between Comfort II and XM10. Look at see the picture from XM10 connection. Could you tell me what is Comfort II X10 plug connection order? Br Pesa - slychiu - 08-25-2007 The X10 telephone cable should be reversed ie pin 4 to 1, 3 to 2, 2 to 3, and 4 to 1 The picture below from the Installation Manual shows how the telephone cable shoujd look when you view it from the side - bryanajones - 09-25-2009 I\'ve just hit the same problem. I\'m buying the XM10U and have a choice of a cross over lead and a straight through lead. Reading this thread I\'m a little confused. Looking at the diagram I would have said that that was a straight through cable, but reading what you\'ve written it sounds like a cross over cable? I might be able to use a multi meter if I buy the cables, but given the choices from a web site all it says is cross over or straight through. Which does comfort need? Thanks Bryan - ident - 09-25-2009 A cross over cable is what you need, ie 1 to 4, 2 to 3, 3 to 2, 4 to 1 I dont know why the cables are not supplied with the product - bryanajones - 09-25-2009 its a separate purchase so I guess they want to make more money
