Hi,

Just a quick query pon the voice upgrade. I purchased it last week, but not sure on how it gets delivered. I was under the impression I would be emailed a link etc to download, but have not received any instructions on how to go about this. Anyone else done this, could let me know the process ?

What have you purchased for voice upgrade? Is it UCM05 module?

You will need UCM05 and upgraded voice file (e.g. Kate26.bin for UK English voice).
Connect your UCM05 to the main board through 12V/Com and KA/KB and your PC/laptop to the UCM05 via RS232 cable. Open Comfigurator software, go to Transfer > Vocab Download. It will take approximately 15-20 minutes, do not cancel it half way as it will cause the file to be corrupted. Take note that after the vocab download, all recorded messages (greeting, reminder, new and saved messages, alarm voice) will be lost so be prepared to record them back again.

Hi Hendy,

I have ucm05/eth, so should be fine. I just have not received the file yet, so need to get hold of that first.

Thanks,

Yes, UCM/ethernet should work fine with vocab download. The English voice file Anita (US) and Kate (UK) are available for download from Cytech website at: www.cytech.biz  >> Products >> Product Information >> Downloads >> Upgrades.

Kate26 is only applicable for Comfort II so make sure that is what you have. Let us know or send a private message if you have any concerns about the process or not sure what version Comfort you have
