			<description><![CDATA[The new ISM09 submodule which supports 4 PT100 temperature Sensors is now available. Only IRIO02 (with 4 Analog Outputs) supports this new submodule. IRIO01 (with 2 submodules) does not support ISM09 at this time. <br />

PT100 is a standard Platinum Resistance Sensor which has a resistance of 100 ohms at 0 degrees. The ISM09 has 4 connections ofr PT100 sensors. Each PT100 can be mapped to a Sensor Register, with the values&nbsp; in degrees C. <br />

ISM09 is supplied without PT100, as these can be obtained from many suppliers, <br />
ISM09 also includes 4 Digital outputs<br />

			<description><![CDATA[IRIO/TWS&nbsp; has 4 ON/OFF lighting control circuits for on/off lighting control using Two Way Switches and 2 x 0-10V outputs for dimming. Each Lighting circuit consist of a Latching Relay to switch the light on/off and an internal Current Sensor to sense the state of the light when connected to a two way switch. Latching Relays remain at the last Open/Close state without requiring current in the relay coil, and saves energy. <br />
<br />
The advantage of this method of control is the ability of the mechanical&nbsp; two way switch to control the light even if the Comfort or IRIO is not working, as conventional Electrical/switch wiring is used.&nbsp; <br />
The sensitivity of the current sensor can be set to High Sensitivity (for energy efficient lights like LED bulbs) or Low sensitivity for incandescent or halogen bulbs) in order to cater for all types of lights.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[I noticed via the comfort app last night that my system was reporting an RS485 comms failure with an IRIO.On investigating today, I\'ve had a small fire&nbsp;<img src="https://www.comfortforums.com/images/smilies/confused.png" alt="Confused" title="Confused" class="smilie smilie_13" />hock:<br />
This panel is in a metal sealed/vented enclosure that controlls some of the garden lights.The board takes its logic power over cat5 from the main panel.The mains is supplied by an MK RCBO 6Amp (didnt trip)I can switch all the lights independently using mains switches and they all work fine.These lights havent been switched on recently.<br />
It looks like something on the Relay Sub board has let go, and created a small fire.I\'m not sure if the IRIO carrier board is damaged electrically. Its socket upstand is a bit melted. Both sub boards had their power leds on.&nbsp;<br />
So, the questions are:-should I expect this sort of failure ?-if I replace the boards what is to say it won\'t happen again ?-Would just the failure of a single sub-board cause it to report a comms failure, or is the main board damaged too ?<span style="font-weight: bold;" class="mycode_b"></span><span style="font-style: italic;" class="mycode_i"></span><span style="text-decoration: underline;" class="mycode_u"></span>[sub][/sub][sup][/sup]-Chiu do you want more info to investigate ?-is there any good will discount / replacement on this ?<br />
I will attached some pictures in a moment (already written all this once to then fail on attachment and lose it all <img src="https://www.comfortforums.com/images/smilies/sad.png" alt="Sad" title="Sad" class="smilie smilie_8" /> )<br />

			<description><![CDATA[I have an analogue 0-10V light level sensor attached to my ISM02. The value that comfort reads when the light level is decreasing (or increasing) is not very stable. In comfort 0=10V is scaled 0-255.&nbsp;<br />
I have the input threshold set to 55 and the sensor report offset set to 5. Even with this filtering the value can jump above and below the set point many times before its dark enough (or light enough) to remain in the correct state. The value can change more than 10 points in either direction.<br />

Would it be possible to have a better filtering option on the input that could maybe average the last X number of measured values? With X being a variable that could be set?<br />
My current workaround is to set another flag (which only sets on the first cross of the threshold in a day) using a response attached to the sensor but I feel this isn\'t the most elegant solution as this response gets called almost continuously.<br />

I\'m thinking that it would be great if say an IRIO with a pair of modules would work as a 4 or 8 channel two way switch module (so 2 or 4 per sub module, &nbsp;depending on what fits).<br />

If it were possible to din rail mount the IRIO too, then we could fit them in din cabinets in place of the other types of switching control modules.&nbsp;<br />

The IRIO handles the automation functions in Comfort in&nbsp; way that is easier to program and reduces wiring.&nbsp; Instead of programming Responses and actions, Functions are selected, and mapped to Comfort registers like Flags, Counters and Sensors. For example, the Heating or Cooling function works by assigning the setpoint to a Counter and temperature to a Sensor Register. Putting a value into a Counter&nbsp; changes the setpoint, and comparing the temperature in the sensor register allows the IRIO to decide whether to turn on the heating/cooling relay.<br />
The function is mapped to a Comfort Flag, so that setting the flag will enable the function and clearing the flag disables it. The temperature can be obtained by&nbsp; the ISM01 or ISM07 with temperature sensor or other means, eg via KNX, Cbus or the TSM01 Temperature Sensor Module<br />
<br />
For example, the ISM04 TWS subModule for control of lighting two way switches reduces wiring as it is not necessary to connect Inputs and outputs to Comfort. This submodule allows the current threshold t be adjusted so that it is able to handle all different lighting loads including very low current LED lighting down to 1 watt.<br />

The ISM05 Blinds submodule controls a Blinds motor without needing a separate Blinds controller.&nbsp; It is able to move the blinds up and down as well as position the blinds anywhere with the help of a built-in current sensor.<br />
