Foward X10 Comamands To Web

I use confort since 2003, being the automation made by X10. I currently have 2 AD10 modules broken, but I\'m trying to replace them with Sonoff modules or (Shelly 1).
I also have a CM15Pro module that uses Active Home Vista 2.5.5 application on my PC.
My question is how to send X10 commands to command these modules.
In other words, I need an application that receives for example the order

-> (A8 On) coming from Comfort

and create a web command that sends to Sonoff module via IFTTT

X10 Misbehaving

I have a 17 year old comfort system that been working just fine until recently. My hall and landing zones are programmed to turn on lights for 1 minute if the motion sensors are tripped. I also have commands like all lights on/off programmed on the keypad.
Recently the lights are misbehaving. Usually they don\'t come on at all and sometimes multiple (incorrect) zones come on and never go off. It\'s like the X10 controller is sending random X10 on messages. The keypad menus are also not working.
One physical thing that has changed is I install a BT wifi extender hub that uses the power cables to transmit my network. I\'ve tried uninstalling this and rebooting but it doesn\'t fix it.
My outside lights are also programmed to come on and go off on a timer. These use relays instead of X10 and are working normally.
I think this means the comfort board is not sending the correct X10 codes anymore or for some other reason the messages are not delivered properly.
What can do to fix this? e.g. can I get a new X10 chip/module?

Bug in X10 Received Response for All Lights On and All Units Off

We confirm there is a bug in the X10 Received Responses for All Lights On and All Units off for all addresses from A to P

The responses for all on and all off are actually reversed. All on will trigger Response for All off and vice versa

This bug was actually in the firmware since the beginning of the implementation of X10 received responses

It should be fixed in the next version of Comfort firmware

It has been suggested that X10 is obsolete and should not be included in new Comfort hardware. There are hardly any suppliers of X10 products, the technology is too old and too unreliable.

However the firmware will continue to support X10 for existing users with Comfort

Any comments from the Comfort community? Who wants to continue using X10 on new Comfort systems?

What to use to replace X10

I\'m upgrading my comfort 1 to a 2 shortly and at the same time think it maybe time to replace my 10 year old X10 modules.
I currently use soft touch X10 light switches and appliance modules around the house.
What is now the most cost effective route to go that the comfort ii will control please?

Linking x10 commands?

Iam trying to program something through comfigurator regarding x10, maybe it cant be done, hence iam hoping someone can help.

i want a set of lights linked to a module to turn on when a different module is activated...

I want, when i turn on, L7 (master bed) - linked into a LW12 to activate L6 (bedlights) - linked into a AM12U to also turn on, and L7 off also makes L6 off.

the only way i have of programming my x10 is via comfort and ive tried the basic

X10 L7 ON
Do L6 ON

but no luck, so iam thinking that maybe i need comfor to \"check\" the status of L7, but iam not sure i can do this, i know it can be done for a Zone, but not for x10?

in short when i turn on L7 i want L6 to turn on, and L7 off - L6 off.

can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi,

I am seeing repeated XFL0F commands in my comfort log. According to the programming/RS232 manual, this means X10 Function Received for housecode L, function number 0F=15. The commands are every 5 seconds, sometimes more frequent.

Does anyone know what function 0F=15 is? I\'m not aware of anything in my house sending X10, certainly not that often.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Pause between X10 commands

I have noticed that if multiple x10 commands are sent on a response - the X10 commands *can* be unreliable. They are more reliable if sent in sequence with a gap between them (which is the default case with Indigo for Mac when programming lighting control). Obviously I could use Timers, but that involves setting a response for each X10 action, and then Doing each response after the timer expires. Is there an easy way in a response, of Comfort simply pausing, before executing the next line of code? The following code sets night lights and turns off bedside lights in children\'s bedrooms.

I have found various guides to extended X10 codes through web searching. Can anyone tell me how to achieve a response which sets X10 light B8 in Comfort to say 10%?

Still a confused Newbie learning fast... (Comfort working well otherwise - just getting further into response programming).

Xm10U max cable length

Hi, I am finding my X10 control very unreliable. I have an X10 RF TM12U in the house and that seems to be able to control everything all of the time. The Comfort control does not.

My Comfort system is installed in the loft, the XM10U is in the case, this is wired on a spur. Could the fact that the XM10U is on a spur rather than the ring be part of my issue?

I wonder if I locate the XM10U more centrally (where I have the TM12U if it would help. What is the max cable length between the Comfort control box and a TM12U? I was looking to make up appropriate cables and patch it in using existing CAT5 cables if possible.

Hi, I have a problem I\'ve been trying to solve for some time but cannot come up with a solution and hope someone can help.

I have an out door light that I would like to be able to control (I have X10 setup and working within the house so would prefer an X10 solution). The bulb is an energy saving bulb and the switch to it is only a 2 wire switch. There is no way to run any other cables to the switch.

How can I use comfort to control this light?
