No Voice output on KT01

Hi,

Old KT01 here again . I\'m determined to keep this thing alive!

I\'ve managed to update it for an irrigation upgrade, added an additional irrigation zone and some additional action buttons, all working well.

However, both before the upgrade and now, I can\'t hear any announcements from the KT01 panel itself eg announcing irrigation zone status, although I can hear them on the one other KT04 keypad on the first floor. Key press beeps are perfectly audible, so I don\'t think its a speaker issue.

All voice and mic connections are sound.

Any ideas?

PS Although audible on the KT04, announcements are somewhat muffled, maybe a speaker issue but perhaps worth noting.

Sure itâs old but still otherwise works very well, except the back light has got very dim. Any way to fix this/part I can replace to brighten it up?

How to display temperature on KT01?

I tried to set a counter to the sensor register #8 witch is for the SCS with ID 1. Then I added a temperature box on the screen and set the counter number 5. I\'m a little confused what application number should it be. I couldn\'t find in kt manual too.

AC Fail icon remains on KT01 even after power restored

This is a problem where the AC Fail icon on the KT01 remains on when there is no AC Failure on Comfort
This happens when there has been an AC Failure on Comfort followed by removal of the battery due to system power down, OR the KT01 has been switched off.

When the KT01 loses power and power is restored, it remembers the last state, hence the AC Fail button remains on. However if Comfort is powered on, it will not send the AC Fail restored as there was no AC Failure after power on. Hence the KT012 AC fail state remains on

To correct this, remove AC with battery connected until there is AC Fail detected by Comfort. Then switch on AC again. The AC fail state will turn off immediately

To prevent this in future, remove battery before switching of AC

cant dim use c-bus

i using c-bus group 01 for dimming

In the KT01 i creat a button to do on/off function

In the response i doing if/else

To have a sharper display on the KT01, turn off font smoothing.

To do so:
1. Right-click anywhere on the desktop
2. Click \"Appearance\" tab
3. Click on \"Effects\"
4. Ensure that you have the box \"Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts\" unchecked

Update icons in KT01

Hello,
to update icons on the KT01, KTman.pdf says to send CBUS On (or Off) command like this:

CBUS On 3,1
where first number is UCM ID and second is the group.

But in Comfigurator \"Response wizard\" , there are other 2 options to add to the command:
\"Application\" and \"Remote network bridges\".

What these options means? How can i tell to use \"lighting\" in \"Application\" field (only numbers are allowed) ?

KT01 LCD Keypad - Button doesnt work as expected

I have the LCD Keypad, with the standard demo config.
In Control - Lights I have managed to program the top two buttons with toggele
responses that operate outputs (Lighting the LEDs).

This was achieved using Control - 1 and 2.

I then attempted to program the Master OFF button on the control page.
I found that it is configured as 17 in the clipsal program.

Using the same technique in comfigurator I programmed the AllLightsTVOff response.

However when the button is pressed, the outputs are not changed.
