Upgraded to Gen2 board.
As was setup on the Gen1 board, Output 16 on a LEM is connected to external status LEDs (and set as as a \"Status\" output in Comfigurator). LEM is upgraded too.
On the Gen1 system, these LEDs used to flash in a Alert state (say on entry delay) but now just show \"armed\" or \"off\" - no alert flash even though the keypad status LED may be flashing.
Is this a Gen2 design or have I missed something obvious ?

I might be swapping out my door station for a new VOIP video one (probably am)
I currently use the door station to make a momentry connection to my gates to open them.
Assuming this goes - Do I need a relay? Or can I just use one of the OP connections straight off the board? In my case it would be the slave in the garage. (Either way, how do I work out which OP it is to programme in Comfigurator?)
My gut feel is is I will need a little relay....
Thanks

Hi All.

Has anyone tried to power a RGBW strip from an output directly?

Looking at the web one site seems to suggest the there is a draw of 60mA per meter per colour.

Alternative solution would be 4 relays and an external psi.

Hi,

when configuring comfort to send IR codes learned from my remotes i found that that all my appliances only work when i extend the IR cable and point direcly to the receiver, about 1 meter distance. Even for one of the A/C (Fujitsu) i installed the receiver about 1 meter LOS and it does not always work.

My tested appliances are:
2 different Fujitsu A/Cs
LG TV
Panasonic TV

I troubleshooted with a IR receiver that turns on a led each time i detects signals and i have verified that it is possible to even receive wall reflected signals, my guess is that the original appliances find the signal too low and discard it.

I\'m kind of confused, is this the expected behavior? do i have to install a IR transmitter right in front of each of my appliances? Am i missing something?

I can try the outputs on the main comfort to see if there is any difference. I\'d be grateful if someone could share with me some tips on this, since i was expecting a performance similar to the original remotes that work almost in ever angle/position.

My set up:

- comfort Ultra II 7.005
- UCM USB 7.002
- UCM KNX 6.024
- RIO 2.007
- 13 16A relays - finder 40.61
all in the same enclosure powered with the original 12Vac transformer that came with the bundle.

- SCS 6button about 5 meters away

Best regards,

Hi

I installed a number of TWS02s today. 3 are working fine, but there are problems with others.

1. One 2 circuits, when the light is switched on at the wall or via the control menu, the relays continuously flash on and off. I\'ve checked the settings, they are not set to flash. I\'ve checked the wiring and it seems fine. Is there a reason why 2 relays might flash on and off very very quickly?

2. On one circuit, if you turn the light on at the wall or via the control menu, it comes on and then the relay clicks again and it switches off automatically immediately. Any ideas why this may be?

Hi - not sure where to post this topic

I want to switch 3 x 400w halogen lights for the garden

I notice the TW202 manual has been updated

Can the TWS02 cope with 3 x 400w?

I calculate the amps to be 5.2 A at 230v, and the manual says max 6A load, but the manual says switching power to be 480w

I really dont want to use up inputs / outputs by having to wire the lights separately

so, can I have 3 on one circuit or will I have to have separate?
Sorry if this is a stupid question

All my 16 Zones work well but today I needed to use Output 9 and this did not work. I actually have 16 outputs in total (and am using 4 relay units).

I know that outputs 9 onwards are not working as I cannot hear the relay click when activated. On the other hand Relays connected to outputs 1-8 (that is those directly on the UltraII board) work just fine.

Besides connecting the ribbon cable is there anything else that I needed to do to enable the outputs 9-16?
