I have two DM02 modules supporting two Door Stations (the door stations are third party--basically a speaker, a mic and a button). This setup has worked fine for years.
However, recently the modules appear to no longer work? For example, when \"Scan for modules\" is executed the modules do not appear. Further, when I attempt to use the module, for example a Gate Open Response (to fire the relay on the DM02) after about a second it throws-up a Communications Failure alert and essentially causes a system crash.
Is there any way to run some sort of diagnostic or further troubleshooting or should I just assume the modules have gone bad? Odd that they both would go bad.

Hello! We have a penthouse apartment in a multi-apartment building. The building has an analogue multiwire doorphone entry system manufactured by BPT (an italian manufacturer). The client wants to use Comfort system to answer the doorphone calls and open the building entry door.
In the attachment, I\'m sending our wiring diagram. K1 relay is activated by BPT system bell signal and this part works fine (call from the outside comes through on the Comfort system (keypad etc.).K2 relay needs to be activated by a Comfort output once the user answers the call, and deactivated once they open the door. This way, the MIC and SPK lines get active. We\'re using (per example) output 8.
Our idea was to program PhoneOffHook misc event to activate output 8 and PhoneOnHook misc event to deactivate output 8.
However, we get no audio either way.
It is necessary to keep MIC and SPK lines disconnected prior to receiving a call because otherwise we receive calls to any of the tenants (whatever call button somebody outside presses, we get the ring, unless MIC and SPK lines are disconnected - the original in-apartment doorphone unit has a dual microswitch that mechanically disconnects both lines when you lay down the handset).
Also, door opening doesn\'t work by itself. Do we need to specifically program an action to activate relay 1 on the DM02 module or does it activate by default when user presses 4 on the keypad?

As a reminder, when the door station button is pressed, pressing any button on a keypad will activate the Keypad to Door station 2 way intercom.

For the new feature, during Keypad to Door station Intercom mode, pressing and holding any keypad button will cause keypad to door station to be 1 way, ie Keypad can talk to door station, but Door station cannot talk to keypad. When the keypad key is released, normal 2 way intercom mode is activated.
This may be useful when there is noise outside on the door station side. One way mode is normally louder than 2 way mode. This also helps to check whether the intercom is working

This install is 5 years old and the speaker phone never worked.
Today I found out that is because the Voice and MIC form the DM02 was not connected to the main PCB so it now at least works. T
There is a fairly loud constant buzz though between the door station and all keypads (Keypad to keypad audio is good). The cable is a heavily shielded cat7 and direct wired so should not be an issue I think. I tried removing J5 which just seems to make it louder. The wiring looks to be the same as page 8 in the DM02 manual and J1 is set 2-3. There are 3 spare wires as the grounds are all just connected together on the door station as are the two 12vs. My DM02 does not seem to have a J6. Any tips on how I can reduce the buzz?
Hmm, disconnecting the DS Speaker and Mic from the DM02 does not stop the buzz at all. The DM02 is in the middle of a JP8/JP8A module daisy chain, could this cause buzzing?

The sound quality is really poor.
Do I need to upgrade my DM01 to a DM02 also?
Or is it just tuning parameters I need to play with? Could you point out the correct tuning parameters/ which ones to adjust please?

Hi All , I know this is a bit of a strange request. I currently run a gen1 comfort system with a DM02 and Fermax door station. I would like to replace the door station with a Ring Pro unit. The family quite like the way comfort rings the phones in the house and then stops it ringing when a pir senses movement.
Is there any way I can connect Ring Pro to still trigger the internal phones when we are at home?
The Ring pro uses 30V AC which is a typical US ringer voltage, it will operate with 24v. It seems it can be used to get the original ringer to operate but I am not sure how. The door bell only has the two connections that connect it to the transformer.
I can see on the DM02 manual that it can see a 24v AC door bell as there are instructions on the jumper settings for this. Is this possible?

Is it possible to activate the gate release on a DM02 via a CBUS group, ie is it possible to press a CBUS button on a keypad which will trigger the JP5 or JP4 on the DM02 which will open or close a gate or door.

Cheers

Hi, I have a comfort 1 Ultra system with a DM02 board and Fermax Cityline door station. This has given good service for a number of years but has recently given some issues.

The volume at the door station is very loud even with the local Fermax trim set to its minimum. The volume heard on the remote or local phone is now very quiet even with the Fermax trim set to maximum. I have looked at the tuning settings but don\'t seem to be able to have any effect.

I have checked all of the connection for corrosion and they look OK. The volume when listening remotely used to be very good, I could even hear children playing in the street. Could I have a fault in the Fermax station or are there any tuning options I could try?

Many Thanks
