NOTE THAT ETH03 firmware is upgraded by downloading the ETH03 firmware from https://www.cytech.biz/eth03_firmware.html

Then open CS Manager, press the Upgrade button and select the downloaded eth03 hex file, see instructions at http://www.comfortforums.com/forum113/3820.html

The IR learner does not work with this firmware

Please downgrade the ETH03 firmware to v1.12 for the time being if you need to use this function

The ETH03 (General) firmware version 2.08 can be downloaded from  https://www.cytech.biz/product_details.php?item_id=400

This fixes the bugs in the previous 2.06 firmware;

1. IR Learner cannot work. Now IR learner can work on both Ports 1 and 2
   
2. email sending sometimes did not get sent to user 1

Note that the Idle timeout bug was fixed in firmware 2.06 where it was limited to 2 minutes.

ETH03 firmware 2.09 fixes a bug from firmware 2.02 whereTP time synchronisation sends the wrong value of the Month to Comfort, but the bug only applies to the months of August and September

Comfort is not affected by the bug as it rejects a month field of 0. However KP06 firmware < 6.009 time gets corrupted by this effect

KP06 firmware 6.009 has been released which fixes this problem see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum114/3913.html

Hence upgrading to ETH03 2.09 OR KP06 6.009 will fix the bug

ETH03 General 2.14 has the following changes

Known Bugs

1. Date is wrong on the last days of 2014. Date is changed to 2015
2. Date in 2016 is wrong
   

Bugs Fixed

1. Allows UCM/ETH03 to do firmware upgrade by UCM programming Cable. Fixes bug that UCM/ETH03 was not able to upgrade other firmware by the UCM programming cable. The bug did not affect UCM/USB or RS232
2. Fixed bug for date wrong at 17 December
   

Improvements

1. For SNTP time server, allow any user-defined NTP server
2. Allow for daylight saving time time adjustment by Comfort (to be used with Comfort server manager 2.05 in future)

Warning
ETH03-General  firmware > 2.01 is not compatible with UCM firmware 7.040 and below.

Please upgrade your UCM firmware to the latest (UCM 7.060 at this time)  before upgrading ETH03 firmware to 2.14 or above
If your UCM/ETH03 is not able to log in to Comfort and the ETH03 firmware is > 2.01 and you can see the IP address in Comfort Server  Manager, then downgrade the ETH03 firmware to 2.01 from https://www.cytech.biz/download_files.php?item_id=713

This should allow you to log in to the UCM. Upgrade the UCM to the latest firmware  (7.060 at this time), see instructions at http://www.comfortforums.com/forum92/3400.html
Then upgrade the ETH03 firmware back to 2.14 (or later)

Comfort Server Manager 2.06 is released
Comfigurator will prompt to update Comfort Server Manager 2.06 in Options > Settings > UCM Connections > select Network Local or Internet


This is required for proper time change for Daylight Saving with UCM/ETH03s SMTP Time server feature

Please upgrade to  ULT 7.065 firmware so that the daylight saving time change for UCM/ETH03 Internet Time Synchronisation (SNTP) works correctly when the clocks turn back on October 26th. Right Click on Controller and select Check for updates

ETH03 firmware 2.14, UCM 7.060 and Comfort server Manager 2.06 are  required to make the time sync work correctly  at all times

UCM 7.065 will handle the change in time based on daylight savings, while ETH03 time sync will provide the time without Daylight savings

Please Upgrade UCM 7.060 before ETH03 2.14

To upgrade UCM firmware to the latest, right click on the UCM and select \"Check for Updates\"

Bug found - Wrong date for ETH03. The dates provided by ETH03 after 28 December 2014 are wrong. It becomes 2015. The time is correct. This applies to older ETH03 firmware. This will be fixed in the next firmware upgrade for ETH03

ETH03 2.16 improves the connection/disconnection performance of Comfigurator and Comfort apps especially for the iPhone/ipad app

In Technical terms
The  iphone/ipad app  did not send a\"FIN\" packet when loggin out of the app
It sends the  \"SYN\" packet to connect but may not connect in some cases

ETH03 firmware will  disconnect first if it sees the same IP try to connect
