Many thanks for this. The improvement to the monitor window is wonderful.

I can't seem to get system information into the general information page. Not sure why - it comes up when I call up system info from the transfer menu, but does not populate the general information page.

Please can you explain a little more about how to add comments to response actions (I can't find 'Select Action'). Also how do the user responses work - in other words in what circumstance are they executed? Finally, when do the new door station voice on responses happen?

Thanks for your continued help which is much appreciated

The System Info goes into the General Information screen when you download or upload. It does not do so with the Transfer System Information upload alone
The purpose of this is to record in the ccl file all the system infomation whichcan help in troubleshooting and ither purposes

The Action comments window will open when you enter actions in the Response Wizard

The Monitor Window changes to allow it to be minimised and resized will help to allow it to be kept open while doing other editing in Comfigurator. Sometimes closing the screen may freeze Comfigurator, so the ability to get Monitor Window out of the way helps

Thanks that's really helpful.

Can you also please explain when the 'door station voice on' and the 'user' responses are executed? The door station response is obviously new, but I have not had any success in programing the user responses previously.

The User Responses are meant for the Comfort fingerprint reader, see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum43/235.html
Each user recognised by the FPR can activate the corresponding User Response, to arm or disarm the system, to unlock the door, turn on lights etc

The User Responses are not activated by the keypad sign in

Door Station On and off responses are associated with the DM02 Door Station Module which works with third party intercoms. Some intercoms only turn on the audio when their handset goes offhook. Theses responses allow users to program relays to simulate the intercom handset going offhook and onhook so that the audio can be connected between the intercom and Comfort

Hi

I downloaded version 2.2.3 becuase I had some problems with the response wizard viz. I could not position Exit Response from a nested If.

After installing 2.2.3, I lost my .ccl file ?

How can I get it back ?

Comfigurator does not delete any files that was not installed with the program. That is a function of Installshield, the installation program and not of Comfigurator itself.
Perhaps it was accidentally deleted and you can look in your Recycle Bin?

No ability (I think) to have a  comments only line without exiting the wizard and going manual. If implemented would need delete also.

When testing complex logic it is sometimes good to put the ! in front of a command line to temporarily remove it from processing.

You cannot put in a comment by itself on a line.
Comments on each line after an action have been implemented in 2.2.3

if you need to do so I suggest after the wizard when you review the response, go into Manual and add in comments on separate line as needed. At this poimnnt you are in a bettr position to think what coments are needed rather while you are trying to enter the action

Bug discovered in Comfigurator 2.2.3 (probably older versions as well). The use of Timer 64 will cause an "Unknown Exception" Error
If you have used Timer 64 which results in Unknown Exception, use a text editor to change Timer 64 to another timer
