My GSM4 (2G) as stopped sending SMS messages...

The UCM module seems to be OK - it is responding in Comfigurator and I've updated the firmware to the latest OK.

The SIM is OK and we are still getting 2G service in this area.

On the UCM board the Green RDY LED is on,  the BUSY1/D2 Red LED is on, and the BUSY2/D3 and ERR/D4 leds are off.

On the GSM4 sub board (with SIM900 module) the D4 red LED is lit,  and the D3 green LED blinks every few seconds.  However - relatively regularly (don't have to stand there and wait long) the D4 LED goes out for a little while,  the D3 green LED blinks about 3 times, the D4 green LED comes back on and it goes back to blinking every few seconds...

Any ideas of the problem?  Has the GSM module died?

Wondering if anyone else has done this .. before I spend some £. 

I'd like to run HA on a Pi CM4S which is pin compatible with a CM3/3+. Can get 4G RAM / 16G EMMC , which will run HAOS comfortably.

I have a Unifi Protect camera system that provides URL links for the camera streams (https:// or rtsps://).  Is there a way to view these within the Comfort App?

The 'in app' options seem to want an IP Address and Port. The Basic and Pro options seem to want to take me to an old IP Cam Viewer app that doesn't work with my newer version of Android.

Obviously I can see the cameras in Unifi's dedicated app, but it would be more elegant for them also to be available in Comfort app.

(I'm running node-red on UCM Pi and Home Assistant via Comfort2MQTT so some sort of on the fly conversion might be possible).

Does anyone have any experience setting this up?

I'm trying to set-up the Comfort Automation G2 Phone app on android. 

I've uploaded my cclx file to to the App Convertor (https://www.cytech.biz/crl_comfort_app_convertor.php) and it seems to complete fine  and it tells me it has sent the converted file by email.  However I don't receive the promised email.

Had a decorator in, and while painting he removed a pir to get behind it (the wall was being dry lined).

Anyway, next day I noticed comfort was down, naturally I went to.check the removed pir,.to.find that.several.wires.were shorted including the dc and ground.

Removed.rhe shorted powered off.comfort,.disconnected the batter for about 10 mins and then brought everything back up.

Comfort failed to start.

Any ideas what.i am ooking.at here ?

I have tested and successfully managed to install and run the Comfort2MQTT plugin on the installed default UCM that is also used for programming, this has since been stopped. I have the now defunct Alfawerks setup to communicate with Comfort and wish to move to the newer supported plugin and would like some advice moving forward. I am not particularly comfortable in messing about with the hardware due to my physical inability to crawl into the stupid cupboard the system was hidden in and awkwardness of working in there. 
I therefore wondered what the most practical approach in moving would be. Can I Simply turn off Alfawerks - I assume just unplugging the ethernet is enough? and can I therefore use the one existing UCM to do both the very occasional programming, obviously stopping the comfort2mqtt in the process and use this for comfort2mqtt? Or can I repurpose the Alphawerk module or is the appropriate course of action, whch I am trying to avoid, to remove the Alphawerk module and replace with a new UCM?

The Comfort iOS app was notr able to work with iOS 15 and above, When you select a jrlccip file to activate, the app closes immediately. This is due to some functions becoming unsupported. There is a fix in app version 1.8.7. This is in beta. To test this, please go to the link below to singn up as a tester

The email to the phone does not work anymore. The jrlccip attachment is removed by Apple.
The best way to send your converted .jrlccip file to your phone is

[*]Go to icloud.com on PC → sign in
[*]Click iCloud Drive
[*]Upload the .jcrlccip file directly
[*]On iPhone → Files app → iCloud Drive
[*]Tap the file → should prompt to open in Comfort G2 Phone


[*]Also, when you press the IMPORT button in Settings to load a jrlccip file (instead of tapping the jrlccip file), you can browse to other folders on the phone to find the file (eg Downloads) instead of being restricted to the App folder which is where the email attachment was sent

I am getting my comfort ready for house and we had it all renovated and extended. I have a Comfort II Ultra, version 8.013, UCM type 10 version 7.225. I also have UCMPi

I wanted to reset the system so I can start fresh for the renovated house. I tried the reset button on the main board for 15sec and I then got intermittenent connectivty with comfigurator.

Comfort Server Manager see's the UCM, has a DCHP IP address etc. I have tried host name and IP address in the settings but still very very intermittent. I have managed to write a new file (Menu File, New) and managed to write that to comfort, and eventaully managed to read that from comfort to confirm it is fresh

Using comfigurator v4.0.4.0 and this intermittent connectivty remains. Maybe sometimes it works.

I have disconnected the UCMPi from the bus to remove any conflicts with ports etc, powered on/off the comfort panel but still no joy.

I have not reset the UCM ETH03

Please can you help ?  I would like to get the system setup for PIRS and door keypads, plug the UBMPi back in

Please note the UCMs with ETH01 and ETH02 are obsolete and should not be used in Comfort for firmware upgrading or vocabulary upgrading, or scanning for modules. The UCM/ETH03 should be used instead
ETH01 and ETH02 are only compatible with Comfort 1 and Comfigurator version 2

Usoing ETH01 or ETH02 may result in firmware corruption when upgrading firmware or incorrent information in Comfort
