I have noticed that sometimes when I download from Comfigurator to Comfort Ultra 2, any "Alarm Message" I had recorded is lost.  Other times it seems to be preserved.  Is there a way of ensuring that the recorded  Alarm Message is kept?

Thanks.

Is the loss of the alarm message due to a voice download?

No.  Its the download of the amended ccl program file to comfort using "Transfer/ Download (PC -> Comfort)".

This is something that has been reported by some users but we have been unable to duplicate
Can both of you check if a RESET of Comfort causes the messages to be lost, rather than a full download, because a download resets Comfort at the end

Its difficult to say whether this test (reset) will assist you, because the as I indicted, it does not happen systematically.  Sometimes when I download from Comfigurator to Comfort Ultra 2, any "Alarm Message" I had recorded is lost.

However, 6 resets this evening using comfigurator did not result in the deletion of the "Alarm Message".  Also, I downloaded from PC to Comfort (the current unchanged) ccl program file, and the alarm message was not lost.

I will try to see if there is some pattern to the times when the message is lost.

Same as above.

Downloaded my update config file yesterday, no lost.

Try to modify any volume slider (speaker or phone, for example) in comfigurator and download to comfort.
I've tried twice, and in both case, i've lost alarm messages & reminders.

We have tried downloading a configuration into Comfort. Aftyre more than 50 download, none of the messages (greeting, Alarm) were lost
Moving the sliders before downloading did cause alarm message to be lost on one occasion, but is not reproducible. We are still investigating

Do you update the date/time of the system when downloading to comfort?

UPDATE:

After several consequential downloads, i noticed this:

Always lost answering machine wellcome message, alarm messages and reminder messages.

Immediately after one download and reset, Comfort has fired  response "OpenFrontDoor" (ugh! )

Immediately after another download and reset, alarm mode has changed to "Away" (it was OFF prior the download)

Something strange: now i heard some "clicks" in the speak, like this

"Wellcome, Secur<click> OFF"
When i call Comfort from phone (from an external line), instead of "Please, sign in", i heard "Press 1 to".

After a full vocabulary download, all speaks reverted to normal.

I suspect there is a problem in downloading, maybe related to CRC errors or something like.

I use the UCMEthernet, buyed one month ago.

Hope this help.

Can you send your ccl file to problems@cytech.biz so we can download the same file as you do using a UCM/Ethernet?
