- Barn1994 - 12-09-2009 I\'m about to upgrade my old Comfort system (Outside 4.131) to Comfort II (using the upgrade bundle). Can\'t find much documentation on this subject, but I\'ve assumed the first step is to read in the old file system ready for conversion to later version. I\'ve tried this with 2 files. One works fine (from a slightly newer \'old\' Comfort). The other gives the following message: Error processing file E:\\barn01.ccl: System.Exception: Error deserializing C:\\Documents and Settings\\benw\\Local Settings\\Temp\\m8hhy_7r.cclx: System.InvalidOperationException: There is an error in XML document (13, 6). ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) at System.Xml.XmlConvert.ToInt32(String s) at Microsoft.Xml.Serialization.GeneratedAssembly.XmlSerializationReaderConfiguration.Read12_CMS(Boolean isNullable, Boolean checkType) at Microsoft.Xml.Serialization.GeneratedAssembly.XmlSerializationReaderConfiguration.Read144_Configuration(Boolean isNullable, Boolean checkType) at Microsoft.Xml.Serialization.GeneratedAssembly.XmlSerializationReaderConfiguration.Read145_Configuration() --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Xml.Serialization.XmlSerializer.Deserialize(XmlReader xmlReader, String encodingStyle, XmlDeserializationEvents events) at System.Xml.Serialization.XmlSerializer.Deserialize(XmlReader xmlReader) at Comfort.Util.XmlDeserialize[T](String pathName) at Comfort.Util.XmlDeserialize[T](String pathName) at Comfort.Form1.ConvertFromCcl(String cclFilename) at Comfort.Form1.OpenFile(String filename) Is this a Comfigurator or user error? - hendy - 12-10-2009 This is most likely a Comfigurator 3 error. See the full list of known issues of Comfigurator 3 here: http://www.comfortforums.com/forum20/1625.html Can you send your barn01.ccl file to support@cytech.biz so we can investigate. - slychiu - 01-09-2010 This should be fixed by the newer Comfigurator releases |
