- benc43 - 04-28-2013 Hi Just acquired a MinderPro system. My installer does not know how to program Response! Loan me a UCM card and DIY. I am having problem getting my Configurator 3 to connect to the card (the UCM/USB is connected via another UCM/CBus). Now my XP/SP2 cannot even install the USB driver for the UCM. Is the PC01-017E so old that the PC devise installer cannot even locate it on the Internet, tried using Configurator 2 also same problem. The drivers in the Configurator 3 and 2 download do not install. HELP. Can anyone point out the problem/solution, where to download the USB driver for this PC01-017E Many thanks - ident - 04-28-2013 See the instructions on installing the USB Driver here http://www.comfortforums.com/forum73/2431.html - benc43 - 04-28-2013 saw that and did as instructed. Did not work 1. no prior USB driver installed 2. internet connected, search did not find the right driver 3. specified path to downloaded driver from configurator 3 and configurator 2 did not work I want to try some more, else will scream at the installer - ident - 04-28-2013 Did you get the message that the USB driver is being installed when you plug in the USB cable? It shhould go on to save hardware is ready for use In Options settings UCM Connections did you select USB The pullddown menu should show the USB Serial number It is best to refer to the full UCM Manual from https://www.cytech.biz/ucm_manual.html as that will explain the USB driver installation and selection - ident - 04-29-2013 PC01-017E is an old UCM01 which comes with RS232 Are you sure you have a USB interface or Rs232 interface? I suggest that you buy a new UCM/USB or better still UCM/ETH02 module to work with Comfigurator 3 UCM/ETH02 will allow your iPad, iPhone, Android phone or android tablet to work with your Minder Pro, see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum116/3322.html Check with your installer or Schneider Electric |
