UCM05/Ethernet D9 LED not Blinking
#1
Hi..

My UCM05/Ethernet suddenly on D9 LED is not blinking. If base on the UCM manual, it\'s because of maybe SW7 ID shunt wrongly or no. of UCM in Comfigurator maybe wrong. SW7 ID is 1

But last night the UCM/Ethernet connection between the Comfort still working perfectly. I even able to upgrade my main board to v5.164 & UCM upgrade to v5.178.

But last step, I did transfer new cclx file to Comfort too. After that connection start lose even I key in sign in code in Comfigurator unable to establish. From keypad I can sign in. But after that check the cclx file, I encounter the UCM setting (Module and Setting in Comfigurator) I put 0. So is that because of this my UCM05/Ethernet D9 LED now not blinking? or because of i wrongly identify the F0?

On UCM05/Ethernet physical board I can see:

D10 blinking as UCM manual state.

D9 not blinking

Ethernet LED (Same as return on manual \"Connection is Close\" symptom)

D104 not blinking

D103 blinking twice after a few seconds.

What can I do in order to establish the connection back to normal? How to change the UCM value in Comfort system as I can\'t establish the connection?

Thank you.

Both your UCM05 and Ethernet stop working is because you put the Number of UCMs = 0.
You can still sign-in from keypad, that\'s good thing.
So that you can change number of UCMs from keypad through engineer menu.

Press F, 0 on keypad followed by engineer code (def: 6789) and # key.
Press 7 for for System.
Press 4 for Star Menu.
Press 1 for Locations.
Enter location 1672 followed by # key.
You will hear from keypad location 1672 code 0. Code 0 refers to the number of UCMs in your system i.e. 0.
Enter the new code (i.e. 2 if you have UCM05 and UCM/Ethernet only) followed by # key.
Press # one more time so it will go back to the previous Star Menu.
Press 2 for Reset.
The Comfort system will restart and after that you should see both D9 and D10 LEDs on your UCM05 and UCM/Ethernet flashing fast indicating there is communication between Comfort and UCMs.

Hi Hendy,

Thank you for your super fast respond.

I will try out the step tonight.

Just something to share  to all on the UCM05/Ethernet setting on the port. On the UCM manual return port 1001. But on the Comfigurator V3, when you click Option – Setting – UCM Interface, then select Network. The port no. will auto return 10001. So hope everybody can aware on this differences of port no.

thanks...
