ULTRA Firmware 6.009, to 6.011 Beta
#1
ULT 6.009 Beta version is available for testing
This firmware is not released yet. It is still going through intensive testing at Cytech. However users who would like to test the fixes and new features are welcome to try this new version. Installers should not install this firmware on users systems yet

Changes from 6.006
Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed BUG from 6.006 Cbus and KNX arm buttons cannot work.
  2. Fix bug where event log is heard on the phone, the events are also displayed on all keypads
Improvements

  1. When keypad disarms after alarm, the Alarm History is not played automatically. Removed because this confuses some people.  System now says \"Security Off\" and \"Thank you goodbye\". However when sign in to user menu without disarming the system (ie press * followed by code and #), the alarm history is still heard.
  2. Initial  date and time is changed to 07/12/2011 (when Comfort is turned on for the first time)
  3. Maximum  Do Action Rs485 commands increased  from 48 to 64  eg DA commands
  4. RS485 receive buffer size increased from  127 to 240
  5. In Event Log, changed user number assignments - Engineer Code changed from 18 to 254, Keypad arm changed from 90 to 240, Auto arm (Response) changed from 91 to 241, CMS from 94 to 244, SMS from 95 to 245, UCM Ids 17 to 24. When Cbus or KNX UCM etc arm system without code, the event log will record UCM ID 17 to 24. Key arm by action 72 is recorded as User Key Arm, Action 71 Auto arm is recorded as User Response. There is incompatibiliy between events recorded by old firmware due to user number changes. Before upgrade,  read event log  and save. A new eventlog.cfgx file is needed.
  6. Eventlog  announces ID 17 to 95 for Ids when arm and disarm without code eg User Number 18 for UCM 2.
  7. SMS Format change from 2 to 3 digits for User, ID or Zone Number
  8. Supports 96 Inputs and Outputs. Slaves which are on ID 4 and 5 require SEM firmware 6.007
  9. Changed SMS Text message. Arm by Cbus , KNX etc without code reports User UCM ID number instead of \"User Keypad\" eg \"(identificatiuon text) -19 System Armed-018 UCM #2\" if armed by UCM#2 KNX. Before, Arm by KNX is shown as \"XXXX-AA-90 Keypad\" so it may  appear (wrongly) as  armed by keypad.
  10. GSM SMS Text message sends Alarm Type Number before alarm name and Zone/ID/User Number before its name eg \"Home Comfort - 01 Intruder Alarm - 007 Back Door\"
#2
Do you have an updated comfort protocol guide yet that details these changes?
#3
These mostly do not affect the protocol, except where the user numbers for engineer, keypad etc are involved. This is being amended
#4
Testing with the Client and pressing the \'Panic\' button all seems to work fine up to the point where you want to disarm. The Alarm is canceled but the Client doesn\'t receive an AL command.

You are correct. There is a bug in 6.009 where disarming from an alarm when in Security off leave the alarm in Alarm State. ULT 6.010 (beta) fixes this problem.
