Faulty Door Station
#1
Hi,

I have a DP03 door station and the press button to activate the doorbell has stopped working. Everything else works fine. If I take off the cover and short the connections the doorbell sounds, so I guess its the switch that’s faulty. I am going to buy a new door station with a camera when I can afford it but for now could anyone supply me with a part number for a replacement switch? I assume I should be able to pick one up from RS components... Thanks,
Chris.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Yes there are lots of different specs available.
What’s the process I need to follow to hold of them from Laser? Do I just call and ask or will they have a reference number
 Thanks,
Chris.

Refer to this forum post and mention that some doorbell tact switches should be received from Cytech, but this would be probably late next week

Hi ident,

Thank you for sorting out the switch. Really appreciate it. Unfortunately after replacing the switch it still has the same symptoms.

I had to splash out and purchase a new MA11P, DM02, MA71 and MA61. I think this will last a long time.

Just one question, where can I find fitting instructions? I cant find them on the Cytech web site.

I assume the dm02 sits with the main comfort board now?
Does it need a separate power supply as Laser didn’t add one to the order?

Thanks,
Chris.

Where about\'s are you - we still carry limited spares for the old door stations NOTABLY SPEAKERS which fail every 18 months or so in exposed situations.

The manuals for the door station parts are in the DM02 manual, see https://www.cytech.biz/dm02_manual.html?category_id=108
You do not need a separate  power supply if your door station  is the non-camera type eg MA11. The ones with cameras require a separate 18V power supply TT1801/UK

The DM02 is mounted with the Comfort, and is connected by 5 wires to the MA11

Hi, Thank you for your replies.

I cant find any specific instructions on what goes to where on the MA11P.

Can you please just confirm what should be wired where?

The connections I have on the ma11p are:

-, A, L+, L-, C, P1, P2, P3, P4, and 1,2,3,4

what should I connect to DM02?

Thanks in advance

Chris.
