Android Phone App 1.04
#1
The new beta version of the Phone app can be downloaded from
https://www.cytech.biz/android_app.html?category_id=98

This fixes bugs that were in the previous versions

  1. Back Button did not exit the application
  2. When the app was in the Control Page, and it times out (2 minutes) and another app is started, going back to the app seems to show it is logged in but it is not.
  3. Away, Night, Day buttons stop blinking when you go to the Control Page and back
  4. Sounds obey media volume settings

HI I have downloaded a copy of this to try on my phone, I can get it to connect and to open, but I cannot get the file to load the configuration, I have it emailed to my phone and click view on Gmail as that is the only option it gives, It them lets me select the option in the App but does not load the details into the app.

I am using Gmail, Samsung Galaxy S2 with Android 4.0.4. Should this work fine? I know from earlier versions that the newer androids where not supported but I thought they where now.

The important thing is to read the email using an email (gmail in your case) client and not by webmail. Using webmail you will not be able to load the attachment

HI Thanks,I am using Gmail and not Webmail, the options in Gmail are View or Save, I click View and it asks me to select the App setting to use. I select my Comfort setting and then it confirms that it was selected, the email then stays in the foreground and nothing else happens.

Just an update, I tried it with the android email client using a different email address and it has worked, it may be an issue with how GMAIL reads the file. it dosn\'t confirm that it has loaded the file but I selected the file and the location, then went to the Comfort app, logged in and it was working

There should be a dialog asking you to select the configuration eg Home or Ooffice or another name

Can you see if the zones in the zones page showing the names that you programmed in the cclx file
eg

That shows that the cclx file has been imported

Hi I am away for a couple of days and will check when i get back. I Know I was able to see some home controls after a few attempts at loading the file so it must have loaded. I guess that as you progress thr app then it will be easier to load. Would be great to have a import functiion in the app or feedback as to progress and when it has loaded
