Date and Time stamps with Outgoing SMSes
#1
Is it at all possible for the UCM to include the date and time of when the event to be sent out occurred?

This will be useful if/when the UCM has trouble sending SMSes for a period, and when it eventually sends them, one can tell when the events really occurred.

SMS trouble and restore is reported in the event log
The event log is more suitable for checking these events
This is more suitable than the I/O monitor as the event log is constantly recording events as they occur without needing to run comfigurator
The event log has a time and date stamp

When you are away from home and you get an SMS that there is an intruder alarm. The SMS would not have the time that the intruder alarm occurred. So if UCM could not send SMSes for three hours and when you eventually get the text messages., you will not know if the Intruder Alarm just occurred or if was two hours ago when you were still at home and you triggered the alarm by mistake.

I see, that is a good idea
I will pass it on to the R&D team

Our R&D have added the time stamp to each SMS message
The date will not be included due to potential problem about the length of the text exceeding 140 characters
The sample sms log is shown below

This will be implemneted in a future Comfort firmware
