Its working.
Thanks Ident,
I gave up on upgrading the KT03 via the UCM Ethernet. It was taking ages. So, I gave the USB a try. That has now allowed me to do a write to both KT03s.
They are now working.
I have also done a write to Comfort. the first KT03 has ID setting of 1 and the second to 2. After a reboot they are both polling
Another thing. It looks like the icons on quite a few of the KT03 pages overlap the text. It looks like configurator has the same thing. Are there any more up to date templates that I should be downloading prior to amending them myself?
Willem
PS. Also, why do you think that the UCM is so much slower than the USB?
This is because the USB is a direct connection to KT03 while writing to KT03 via UCM has to go via UCM to Comfort via Comfort Bus to KT03
The same applies for KT03 firmware upgrade, much faster by KT03 USB
However doing it via UCM has the possibility of remote programming which is useful for installers who need to do something for customers remotely
If you upgraded from older KT03s eg version 2, then the handling of the write to KT03 and firmware upgrading were not as good as the latest firmware so you should not have the problems with erros if you do it with the new firmware
which are are screens with the overlapping buttons
You may be using old pages
Open a new KT03 template and check if this happens
If so send a screen shot
The icons don\'t overlap exactly. Its that the icons hide the text.
see picture.
You mention for me to open a new template. Perhaps this is a basic question, but where can I find these templates? I have played around with configurator to create my own sheets which seems rather straight forward but if there were examples of others that had already been created it would be helpful.

Ident,
I had not seen your reply here. Sorry.
I have to a large extent recreated my own template but on seeing your reply I thought that I would look at the built in template. There are two in the Config folder on my hard drive (port and def).

I\'m running Win7 over Parallels with a screen of 1680x1050.
But I\'m not sure why the operating system should affect it. What I see on my screen is what then appears on the KT03 once transferred.
Having said this it is rather easy, as you mention, to play with the icons to make things fit. expanding the red area, moving things around, changing fonts etc. I have almost finished this with my other KT03. I was just wondering why my default template was corrupted.
