Door phone intermittently won't ring house phone

I have a Comfort II Ult system on FW version 7.047  it has the RGR04 module fitted.

There is also a Doorstation DP03

Usually when the button is pressed on the doorstation the housephone rings.   However at times the phone doesn\'t ring, yet I can still hear the RGR relay clicking.

If I reset Comfort then it will ring the phones again.  Only one phone is connected and works fine itself.

Does this indicate a faulty RGR04 module?

Any tips on what to try would be appreciated.

How long does each ring pulse last? Perhaps it is too short for the phone to react to?
It may also be faulty. How old is the RGR04? Has it been working before?

About 1 second intervals the relay clicks, so it sounds right for UK ring tone. The RGR04 is about 3 years old. The interesting thing is after a comfort reset it will work again for a while.

I suspect RGR04 faulty although it is strange that resettiing would make it work for a while

RGR04 has Been replaced by RGR05 which is connected differently, see
