My Comfort II system died yesterday.
It\'s completely dead (no lights, keypad dead, just a mains-hum from the controller), the AC supply is OK.
I touched the voltage regulator and it was extremely hot so I powered it down and disconnected everything. Even with just the AC connection onto the board the voltage regulator \'boils\' and there\'s no LEDs on.
So I fear it\'s fried
We did have a very bad thunderstorm the other day and my home phone (which is connected to Comfort) has failed too, so I suspect that\'s not a coincidence.
The board looks fine visually.
I contacted the UK company I purchased the board from (SmartPowerShop) has stopped selling Cytech kit as has the only other UK company I\'m aware of (Ivory Egg).
Any thoughts anyone.
