iPhone app secure communication

Looking forward to setting up the iPhone app but just thinking about the internet security.
Does the app use any form of end-to-end encryption for the commands/login codes sent to Comfort?

There is no encryption for the comfort app. If you are on the local network, the wifi connection has encryption  eg WPA etc, but not from a remote Internet connection
