Early morning we had serious thunder and lightning, the alarm went off (tamper, communication loss), could not use the keypad to disarm, eventually had to reset the slave that had the siren to get it to stop, then I had to reset all the slaves so I could arm again.
Clearly it was a good thing that I was at home, but how do I prevent this from happening, especially if we are not home, the would have been no way to stop the siren.
Am using Comfort Ultra 7.201 with two slaves (7.207)

The effect of lightning unpredictable - it can cause all kinds of damage through the telephone lines, sirens or door/window contacts. Does your siren box have built in battery that activates the siren when power is lost from the alarm panel ie a Self-actuating siren?
If so the lightning may have caused the resettable fuse on the slave to open up and thus cause the siren to turn on. It is not possible for the comfort or slave to prevent this from happening as the fuse is to protect the electronics otherwise it would have been damaged anyway

So how we remotely reset the system if we are not at home when this occurs?

You can try to remotely reset the Comfort by going into Engineer Menu and pressing 7,4,2
This resets comfort. Before that yuou have to enable the engineer Menu by signing in to user code and pressing 9,3,4,1 to enable engineer Code. This allows you to sign in to engineer menu.
However if Comfoirt is damaged by lightning and does not respond to the menu then it will noit work
